Hello missing people… I hear your return is coming soon.  I will be excited to hear about all your adventures.  I still think you should have fit me in those giant duffle bags.  I would have made an excellent mascot for your cabin!  

Today was pretty awesome! I had BIG jobs to do!  It started with some morning snuggles with Uncle Benjie. He kept me company in the wee hours of the morning.  Then at breakfast I was in charge of clean up.  You know, those are big jobs.  I waited under the table by J to catch the food that fell.  I also had to help lick the milk that spilled on the floor. I even got the booster chair nice and clean!  I’m much faster than mom with a rag.  I got a an early afternoon nap in, and a nice walk with mom and dad this evening.  

Let me explain how my job as a the Chief Dog on Patrol works… Mom and Dad were doing something with the cars and water.  I was told that I couldn’t hang on out and “help” on the driveway, because, well water…. anyway, I was watching closely from the front door and I was barking every time to let them know a dog was walking by.  They might be coming near MY HOUSE!  It might pee on my grass!  Now I’m on patrol while dad is doing some garden work.  I’m also on the search for some tomatoes that might be ready, though it is close to my bedtime.  I like to be up early with the birds, as they are delicious for breakfast.

Not much else exciting going on at the farm.  I am making the most of my time as an only dog for the week.  I’m lobbying hard for some long walks and extra food.  I love FOOD!
