July 4, 2018 Part 2

Woof!  Josh & Rachel! How are you?  I hear that Louie is on a 3 day biking and camping trip!  That sounds fun!  I hope you had an excellent 4th of July!  It was sunny and hot and rainy and cloudy and sticky today.  It makes for a difficult day if you have fur.  I tried to help my Dad with some gardening this morning, but then I was HOT. So I went and rested in the porch.  Then I realized that I was better off in my regular air conditioned snoozing spot, upstairs in a sunbeam with the front door in my sights.  (I'm always on patrol!!)

What exciting things did you do today?  How is Makor Mania? Is it as fun as you told me about before?  I think I would really enjoy running around camp with no big kids!  I bet I would have lots of freedom running around camp chasing birds and squirrels and wild turkeys!  Have you checked on my goats and chickens lately?  Would they make good playmates or meals for me?  I think I would like living in a barn. How is your barn, sorry, cabin?  Is it nice and clean?  I lick the floor to keep it clean, is that how you clean the floor?  

Anyway, there are lots and lots of booms and lightning and thunder—it makes for a strange and noisy night.  Did you see fireworks?  Were they great?  

I hear you have a campout and a hike!  I hope they are amazing!  I’d be a good helper on a hike and I like sleeping in a tent! I’d keep you safe from all the critters- I’d make sure you’d leave no crumbs!  You know how helpful I am when we have fire in the backyard…. I think you should ask if I can join you for this fun next summer!
