Hi Josh,

What’s wrong with Louie?  I woke him up at 5:04am to go birding, and he said. “I’M SLEEPING!”  I thought he liked birding.  I then found Dad and he let me out to do some hunting, but c’mon.  Why won’t he go birding with me?  I’m specially trained to look for birds!  Did you go birding?

Anyway, I had an excellent day at home with Dad. Mom and Louie had an adventure, and Dad opted to finally get some gardening done. He was weeding, finding tomatoes (I was his super duper helper) and picking cucumbers.  He found about 24 of them.  I rested in the sunbeams, barked greetings and instructions to the neighbor dogs, woofed at the mailman (it wasn’t our regular guy) and overall chilled out most of the day.  It was a beautiful day to hang out and be a dog.  

After dog dinner, Mom, Dad & Louie went over to see Grandma & Papa.  It’s not fair that I can’t go with.  I love to see them, but apparently dogs, “my size” aren’t allowed to visit.  So I stayed home and protected the fort.  

How was your day?  Did you paddleboard?  I think that would be pretty cool - I could sit on it while you paddled!  How is clean up going?  I made sure our kitchen floor was nice and clean!  I double checked for crumbs!!
