Hi, Josh.  Here’s a play by play of my day.

WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!  I got a bone!  I love bones!  I have been carrying it around the house, whining with it and trying to decide if I want to look at it, bury it to save for a surprise later, or chew it.  Mom is mean.  She won’t let me take it in the back yard.  Granted it has been on and off raining, but still,  it’s MY BONE!

Just before 6am, I went to Louie’s room to wake him up to go birding.  I was quietly squeaking to see if he would wake up, and Dad came in and said shh, let him sleep.  Louie did wake up, but said no it’s raining, we don’t bird when it rains.  I was so disappointed.  I guess I will have to go watch and hunt for birds at the feeders in my backyard.

11am: Guess what! I did it!  I put my bone in a super secret hiding place! It will be a big surprise when I find it!  Dad is checking the back yard, but I’m not telling him where it is!!

2pm: It is finally clearing up here, so Dad is taking me for a run.  I haven’t had a daytime run in a long time. Dad is hoping I will be cooperative, but it is really hard. A leash, daytime, I might not be able to control myself.

How are things at camp?  I’m wondering about all the fun you are having.  What is the best thing of the week?  Say hi to the piggies, goats, and chickens for me!

Love,

Ivy
