How was camp today?  When are 3 day trips?  Makor Mania?  I’m so excited to see all the things you will be doing.  I bet I would be a good dog on water skis. Can you picture, me Ivy, with a life jacket on skis, holding the rope?  Ok, me neither.  But I would be a good companion on a sail boat or a canoe.  

I’ll recap Monday for you.  It is finally cooler.  It’s hard having fur when it is 100!  Reina came.  That means I got to follow her around and ask for a bone.  It’s a good job to be a helper, I like to help get the house clean.  Is that what cabin clean up is about?  I am good at licking the crumbs and things that fall to the floor.  Is that how you do clean up?  See, another reason to take me with you to camp!  Mom took me for a long walk this morning.  I was cooperative, as I always like to walk and see the neighbors, but it was during my morning nap.  Don’t believe her when she says I was dawdling.  I was taking my time and enjoying the scenery.  I hung out with Mom on the outside couch and then promptly at 5pm, I reminded her that it was chow time and I was STARVED.  I asked for some cut up red pepper with my dinner, and mom was ever so kind, she actually gave me some!  These must be the perks of being the only “kid” home.  Dad came home and I helped him find a couple of cucumbers in the jungle.  I was looking for tomatoes, but they are STILL green.  Dad says I wasn’t a good harvester, as I missed a few yellow ones, but it is early in tomato season.  I like the low hanging fruit…. Literally.
