Hello- it’s been fur-ever since I have heard from you.  I have been shown proof of life in the daily photos from camp, but that is the extent of the all contact. I assume you will have a lot to share with me along with extra belly rubs when you return.  Speaking of things that I am just learning about… the musical 101 Dalmatians! Wait a second… I could have starred in that performance.  I mean I don’t have spots, but I am a DOG!  I could get spots, all I’d need is some mud.  And I could be the puppy rescuer from the evil Cruella.  I can’t believe I was left out of this fun.  I know my singing is a bit like howling, but I am on key!  And if you offer me a treat, I’ll pretty much do whatever you want!    It is so not fair that I am not at camp with you!

Dad is spraying the stinky neem in the garden, so I have retreated to my upstairs perch.  Mom is using the sprinkler on the new sod, so it’s pretty much watching rain from the front door.  I finally got a walk now that the garden work is done- Dad said I might lose my nightly walk privileges because I was pulling so hard.  We went toward Irwin Park - there were a LOT of new things for me to smell and look at.  I couldn’t help myself!

If I liked water, today would have been an excellent day to be out on it on in a pool.  It was so beautiful outside.  Mom did take me for a late morning stroll, but there were no other dogs to chat with on our walk.  I love to say hello, even though mom says my need to tell others I’m the boss is a bit insulting.  I’m not crazy, just very excited when I see a friend with 4 legs and a tail.

I’m not sure how many more letters you will get at camp, so a few notes from the parents.  Do a check to see that you have all of YOUR items as you pack—towels, bathing suits, swim shirts, anything that you’d be upset if you didn’t bring it back!

That’s it from Homewood!
Love,

Ivy
