July 11, 2018 - the last camp letter of the season....

As the 2018 camp session comes to a close, I thought I'd share a classic Ivy letter with you.  This was written June 2017- and was such a hit, the boys asked me to continue having Ivy write letters to them at camp.

Dear Louie & Josh,
I’m sending you a group letter (mom is typing, she’s nice isn’t she?) Because I DID IT!   I’m completely unsure as to why Dad was upset.  LOOK!  LOOK!  LOOK!  I caught that pesky squirrel.  I woke Dad up around 5:30am, and about 6am he heard the sounds of victory!  I brought my gift to Dad and he scooped it up and took it away.  He gave me some extra kibble.  That’s it.  He didn’t even serve it for breakfast.  I thought that was the deal - if I bring it home we get to eat it.  Anyway, how are things by you?  Do you get to catch your food too?  Is it tasty like squirrel?  I’m still not over not getting to eat it.  After all that excitement, I am pretty tired today.  It is hard work being a dog.

So can I come up to camp too?  I’d be a good hunter!  I can bring you tasty  treats!
 Hope all is fantastic!
Love,
Ivy

P.S. Mom says brush your teeth and wear sunscreen!
