Woof! Woof! Woof! Alright, I’ll let Mom type. Today started out ok - I got a bone from Dad before he went to work, Mom woke up, I barked at the garbage truck, you know, a usual Wednesday morning. Mom snapped the leash, I thought, wow, what is this unexpected early morning surprise? She puts the car seat belt on, puts me in the car and takes me…. to the vet so I could get a spa treatment. No, I did not like it one bit. I had to get a bath. I hate water. I do not like being wet. There was soap. It was absolutely positively awful. Then I was left to “relax” in a kennel until Mom showed up to get me. I was not a happy dog. I mean, I was happy to see her get me and all, but seriously, a bath? I didn’t smell. It hadn’t been that long since I had last had a bath. Whatever. I then got to come home and roll in the freshly cut grass. See, I showed her!
Today I got to bark and bark and bark out the front door. That’s because mom was out front admiring her flowers. Many things are blooming! She also went out back to the newly developed jungle. It is thick back there- I’m having a hard time weaving my way through the crazy big plants. She found snap peas and yellow beans and the first of the tomatoes. I almost got those before she did. I’m just waiting for much easier ones to pick.
How’s camp?
Has the kibble been as delicious as mine? I barked for my 5pm meal today— it was pumpkin and turkey and mushy kibble. What did you eat? Did you get the slow down bowl yet? You know, puking because you snarfed isn’t cool.
Can’t wait to see the excitement at camp! Hope it isn’t too buggy and you are having fun with your friends. Are you both at the same camp? I haven’t seen you together yet… mom assures me my boys are in place…
Love you!
